ABOUT: Opening Gala Reception and Silent Auction featuring winemakers from Sunlight and Water will kick off the six-month long exhibition and the official release of the book Sunlight and Water: Celebrating the Winemakers of Santa Barbara County. The book beautifully showcases 110 portraits of Santa Barbara counties’ finest winemakers in a unique, intimate fashion. All proceeds from the silent auction and a portion of ticket sales from the event will benefit The Valley Foundation.* Reception guests get to mix and mingle with many of the distinguished winemakers featured in Halper’s book. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by the outstanding chefs at Avant Tapas and Wine. Avant sits atop the Terravant wine companies’ breathtaking facilities that serve more than 30 vintners in Santa Barbara County.

Sunlight and Water will transform eight tasting rooms, a restaurant, and a hotel in downtown Los Olivos into a Meandering Gallery experience showcasing Mark Robert Halper's portraits of Santa Barbara County, California winemakers.
