ABOUT:     Audiences can enjoy this witty and romantic tale at the idyllic Fess Parker Winery in Santa Barbara’s wine country or at the rustic Casa de la Guerra courtyard in downtown Santa Barbara. In accordance with its mission, Shakespeare Santa Barbara will continue to expand its educational programs. Internships, “talk-backs,” outreach performances, and a week-long session with the Elings Park summer camp will all return in 2008.

 “Much Ado About Nothing”

Set to run in Santa Barbara month of August

 

SANTA BARBARA, California – Throughout the month of August 2008, Shakespeare Santa Barbara, will present Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” co-sponsored by Fess Parker Winery and the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation. Now in its seventh season, audiences can enjoy this witty and romantic tale at the idyllic Fess Parker Winery in Santa Barbara’s wine country or at the rustic Casa de la Guerra courtyard in downtown Santa Barbara. Shows at Fess Parker’s gorgeous winery are the perfect ending to a day of wine tasting--picnic on the manicured lawn and drink Parker’s best while you soak up the fun. Downtown’s Casa de la Guerra courtyard, just steps to famed State Street with its restaurants and active nightlife, provides a dynamic venue. Wherever you catch it, be sure you don’t miss this hilarious comedy.
